In 2018, during Inktober, I decided to illustrate a short story I had been working on in a series of straight ahead, black and white ink illustrations.
A story about a Girl who processes growing up, by retreating into a magical childhood land via the eye of a button, where she confronts her terrifying new life she’s growing into.
